Studied at Kunitach college of Music in Japan. She also studied at Grieg academy in Bergen,Norway and Norwegian Academy of Music.

Risa started to play piano when she was 3 years old. She participated in several competition  in Japan in her youth. She joined Vienna Master courses in summer when she was 11, and studied with Erika Dichler-Sedlacek and performed at some concerts.
